My Weather

The weather in California is very cool for me except summer. I cannot stand for this kind of cool weather, I have to wear jackets one or two layers to keep me warm; however, I still feel very cool. I don’t like this weather. In Cambodia, there two main seasons, dry season and rainy season. In rainy season, the weather is warm and sometime, it drops to 22 degrees Calculus; nevertheless, it rain almost every day. It is very difficult for me to go out to work, go back home or to somewhere else. In this period of time, it is so cloudy, windy, and foggy for sometimes. Houses and other properties are destroyed almost every during this season. When I hear thunder I feel frighten because in the last few years, the lightning is very dangerous. It kills a few people each year. In contrast, in dry season, the weather is very hot and wet. In the day time, the weather goes up to 40 degrees Celsius. I get sweat all the time when I go out. I have to stay in the air conditioning in order to keep me warm and comfortable. The drought has huge impact on the crop production.

The weather in California is different from Cambodia. I Love both weathers for the same reasons but in different seasons. I enjoy weather in California in the summer time and harvest time in Cambodia. Summer weather in California is very good for me because it is not so cool like other season. During that time, I don’t need to wear a jacket to keep me warm. The sunny is shinny almost every day. We can see the clear blue sky because it is not so cloudy. Moreover, I never see the storm, heavy rain, fog, or lighting since I arrived here. In Cambodia, during two-month period of harvest time, the weather is very good for me. During that period, the low temperature is about 20 degree Celsius and it is a very good weather of the year in my country. I can enjoy the cool weather of year. I can see it cool for some reason but I still can enjoy seeing the sunshine in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The weather in Cambodia, most of the time, it is hot but I like it. I feel that I am very familiar with this weather.
